📌 Refund, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

At Battery Source, we value transparency and customer service. Please review the following policies regarding product sales, service charges, and cancellations.

🚫 Refund Policy

All sales are final.
We do not offer refunds on products or services once delivered or performed.
This includes batteries, call-out charges, labor, diagnostic fees, and jumpstart deposits.

🔁 Exchange Policy

We understand that issues can happen. While refunds are not offered, exchanges may be allowed if eligibility criteria are met:

Used Batteries:
- Sold as-is, no warranty included
- Eligible for exchange within 30 days of purchase (if condition allows)
New Batteries:
- Covered under a 3-year limited manufacturer’s warranty (from date of sale) for defects only
- Must meet our Exchange Eligibility Criteria

⚠️ Batteries damaged by improper installation, misuse, or vehicle electrical problems are not eligible for exchange or warranty coverage.

💳 Non-Refundable Charges

All service fees, call-out fees, and product installation charges are non-refundable
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required on all Battery Jumpstart Services

❌ Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made before technician dispatch may be eligible for a refund (excluding non-refundable deposits)
Cancellations after dispatch or upon arrival are subject to full service charges
No refunds will be issued for no-shows, inaccessible vehicles, or customer refusal at the time of service

At Battery Source, we aim to provide excellent service and stand behind the products we install. While all sales are final, exchanges may be offered if the following eligibility requirements are met.

✅ Timeframes for Exchange:

Used Batteries: May be eligible for exchange within 30 days of purchase.
New Batteries: Covered under a 3-year limited manufacturer’s warranty (from the date of sale), for manufacturer defects only.

⚙️ Exchange Conditions:

To qualify for an exchange, all of the following must apply:

Proof of purchase is provided (invoice, receipt, or service record).
Battery is not damaged or misused, including:
- No cracks, corrosion, water damage, or physical abuse
- No signs of improper installation or incompatible vehicle use

The issue results from a manufacturer defect, not:
- Vehicle electrical issues (e.g., faulty alternator, parasitic drain)
- User negligence or third-party interference

Customer contacts us before seeking third-party assistance or removing the battery.
- Unauthorized service may void exchange eligibility.

🤝 Case-by-Case Considerations:

We may also consider an exchange under the following situations:

Battery installed was the wrong size/type due to technician or catalog error
A good-faith exception is requested and approved by management
